Behind the 'Thief'

Working on multiple animations and projects at once, I am in love with this one entitled "Thief." This is the story of a thief trying to steal a diamond.

The storyboard and blocking phase said this animation would be about 9 seconds. After updates to tweening, using graph editors, and adding timing/anticipation into the character's movements, the total animation was around 17 seconds. Soon, I'll post all my final animations as GIFs, but for now, I just have behind-the-scenes silliness to look at.

The three timelines at the top is my progress over a single day, finalizing my animation. The third timeline is the final one used in the animation! The bottom-left picture shows off all the lighting/shadows, and an wider frame-of-view than what the final animation's camera shows. The bottom-right picture shows which lights these are and where all the lights are placed.
